Loren’s first vocal jazz album was self-produced and independently released in 2008. This collection of American Songbook standards, originals, and classic pop/rock picks quickly caught attention. After winning the Best Jazz Vocal Album Just Plain Folks Award out of over 42,000 entries as well as earning countless critics raves from around the world, They Oughta Write A Song was re-released internationally on JVC Kenwood (Japan) in 2010. This album not only introduced Loren to worldwide audiences, but it also remains one of the top-selling Vocal Jazz albums on Amazon Japan more than a decade after its global release.
